I've been creating realistic miniature food in the 1:12th scale for 8 years. I started when I was building a dollhouse house for my husband's granddaughter and wanted to put a few items in it instead of giving her a totally empty house.

Searching on eBay I found a world I never knew existed: miniature foods. Everything about miniature foods fascinated me especially the idea of decadent foods having zero calories! 

I started creating miniature foods at that time and haven't looked back. I worked towards submitting my foods to the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA) and in May 2006 was awarded Artisan status (yippee!). 

I've been fortunate to have several How-To articles published in American Miniaturist magazine and Dollhouse Miniatures Magazine. I've also created tutorials for cdhm: How to Carve Miniature Pumpkins AND Making Miniature Raspberries and Blueberries.
