CDHM the miniature way imag, found objects to make a Thanksgiving cake platter for dollhouse miniatures It didn't matter though; it was the togetherness that made it great. However you serve up your Thanksgiving dinner in the dollhouse this year, here are some ordinary little objects to turn into mini serving pieces.

Use a golf ball marker (not to be mistaken for the golf tee!) and glue it onto a jewelry spacer. Top off with a clear cap from lip gloss for a cover. Trim the spike and add three beads for a footed cake plate. CDHM the miniature way imag, found objects to make a Thanksgiving cake platter for dollhouse miniatures

I glued seed beads around the rim for a scalloped look. These are very versatile because with paint and embellishments, you can make different looks to suite your style.

The tops are flat and perfect for mini food. They measure about 2/3rds of an inch (a little less than 17mm) across and would be perfect for a small cake stand in a 1:12 scale or a full size one in half-inch scale. After adding the trim, it brings the width up to 7/8" (about 22mm) which is perfect for a 1:12 scale display.
