See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,
Ask any child - it means have no fun!

CDHM The Miniature Way iMag Carving in Miniature for the dollhouse scale, 1/12 "Who was playing ball in the house and broke that vase?"

Any child faced with a stern adult asking this question will tell you the right answer is that you saw no evil, heard no evil and even if you did you will speak no evil!

Moms everywhere know those three little monkeys with their hands clapped over eyes, ears and mouth well.

Today I am carving those iconic tiny monkeys, the classic "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". They are just one-half-inch high! The wood I am using is jelutong (Dyera costulata, syn. D. laxiflora), the best wood for carving miniatures as it is easily carved with very fine straight grain.
