A tiny 144th scale dollhouse for your dollhouse or for dolls such as Hitty or Barbie. It is hand made and is furnished and landscaped. The piece measures 2-3/16" wide x 1-5/8 " deep x 2-1/16" tall (including the chimney). I have signed, numbered and dated the little house on the bottom.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

This Woodshire Fairy Dwelling Cottage is a 144th scale, one of a kind, handmade creation. It measures only 2-3/8"" tall x 5-1/8" wide x 2-3/16" deep (including the base).
The outside of the Cottage is landscaped with pretty flowers and bushes. A lavender-flowered vine trails up to the rooftop garden and over the roof.
Inside, a fireplace warms the main room of the Cottage. A chair sits comfortably in front of a bookcase filed with potions and books, and a basket next to the chair holds the latest Fairy News.
The skylight in the dining room offers warm sunlight during the day and a view of the stars at night.
This fairy once lived in a nest in the trees of the enchanted forest when the Dreamweaver sent him the dream of living in a Cottage. The fairy knew they would miss the gentle motion of the swaying trees, so they designed a hanging bed for their sleeping quarters.
Not intended for use by children under the age of 12.

The inspiration for this miniature 144th scale Chapel in the Wood was the chapel I was married in many years ago...also called "The Chapel in the Wood". I decided to make it from the perspective of looking out into the chapel from the altar.
The chapel is made from wood and embossed papers, landscaped with dried foliage and herbs. The "stained glass" windows are replications of an actual rose window. Of course, they aren't really stained glass...that would be impossible to do in this size (at least for me!)!
The Chapel measures 3-1/4" tall (not counting the trees).

The outside of the Cottage is fully landscaped...the corral is covered with straw harvested from the enchanted fields of the Woodshire realm.
Inside, a cozy "horsehair" chair is warmed by the fireplace...a tiny desk and books provide the Horsemaster a place to keep his records. Upstairs a tiny bed and chest give the Horsemaster a place to rest.

The wings shown in this Gallery are handmade from fine parchment and will come to you ready to use (as shown in the photo to the left - one wing is shown). Each pair is cut out, complete with mounting wires and antennae (if applicable), and finished with an application of irridescent Fairy Dust.
The finish I use makes the wings durable yet pliable. Use them just as they are or add your own embellishments as you wish (such as gems, glitters, paints, etc.). Each pair of wings is the same on the front and on the back.
