If you could have a cottage based off of your favorite Storybook, what would that cottage look like? This is what mine looks like and it can fit in any story book dream cottage you have in mind. This house has a Thatched roof that was hand sculpted using several clay tools to emulate a real Thatched roof. The house has hand sculpted stones & brick and plaster which has also be hand painted several colors to add realism. There are added features to make this "kit altered" house, look new! The door was changed to look more authentic. There are over 40 handmade roses in the climbing rosebush alone! Their are 3 different shades of pink roses on this bush to simulate a touch of nature. The fountain with water sprouting from it, is just so beautiful and has an aged verdigris hand painted effect. The entry way has massive pillars with fierce looking protectors guarding the entry. The flower box is full of flowers in shades of pink, white and purple. The window has a spiders web "lead glass" looking insert. 1" scale Castle stone scene and I have embellished the roombox to give the entire piece the elegance I felt it needed.The light by the doorway is from England and is lit by using a 9v battery. There are LED lights and battery pack that I added on the top lid to give the room extra lighting. It is so beautiful to view in a dark room at night. This is a 1" scale room (1" = 1') and the size of the box is 9 1/2" W x 9"D x 13"H. The window and the door was handmade by me and is my own design. The window has a stained glass pattern that I created. The door and the female knights at the doorway were custom created and added to this scene to make it a bit more unique. I have a Fabulous item to offer you today. It is call "Night Time in the Courtyard". The picture shows the scene as a Work in Progress. ButI only have another hour or so left to work on this. I will be adding birds, butterflies, ground flowers and then also add a little more effects to the water (it's still drying). Because of the interest and the fact that this piece will be for sale and not part of my private collection, I decided to offer it for sale early but it will be ready to ship out on Monday. The Scale is 1" and the size of this roombox (which is made to sit on a table) is 21" W x 6" D x 13" H It is electrified and all of the stones and bricks are handsculpted and painted by me to create the realism you see here.
