The wool on cotton carpets are made in 1" scale, the silk carpets will work in 1" and in 1/2" scale.

It is very difficult to catch the rich deep red of the silk in a picture... it looks much better than the picture shows

Triangle Granny shawls in Gütermann silk, they are very supple and drape well.

I love to make different shapes in miniature filet crochet and other crochet techniques, here a picture of a 'star' shaped table top.
I use more Gütermann silk sewing thread because it is a little finer, but I also can use a very fine qualty merserized cotton sewing thread.
