This wonderful vase was made from a piece of Woolly Mammoth Ivory, which came from a tusk that was buried in the permafrost of Siberia! This one exhibits very nice ivory color, and the Schreger Lines are phenominal! You can see them very well in the picture. What you can't see is the depth of them as you turn it in the light! Polished to a flawless, glass-like finish.
