The cool, moist breeze rippled through the dusky stallion's mane as he sprang to the top of the ridge. Nostrils flaring, he scented the promise of rain in the roiling dark clouds that filled the eastern sky. In another time, such clouds might have seemed ominous. This little lady has just surprised a hungry bird, who soon thought better of dining on Dragon Snail in favor of less feisty prey.
