From tragedy comes greatness.

When her Toronto, Canada home was burgled eight years ago and her extensive Re-ment© miniature collection smashed, future miniature artist Pauline Chan of P's Design Miniatures was devastated.

"The burglar totally destroyed my entire Re-ment© collection, stepped on them, smashed them. After that I didn't feel like buying new Re-ment© miniatures anymore. As most of my collection was discontinued items, it would have cost a fortune if I were to buy them back," she began.

Disheartened, she turned her back on miniatures.

"Then, I walked by this little shop and found out they teach people how to make miniatures. I couldn't resist joining the class right away and ever since then I've been an artisan."
