Once dry, I gave it a few different brown washes to create that antique wood look and presto, I had a miniature relief carving to display.

I also use my wood pen when making custom walking sticks for friends; I can design a decorative design for the stick, add their initials or name, or inscribe a special message, the possibilities are vast. Once you start using a wood burning pen you will discover so many ways to use it, from minis to custom gifts. You'll be amazed at what you can come up with.

Even something as simple as marking things that belong to you in a way that cannot be easily removed, the WB pen is a handy tool to have in any kit. There are many sites on the net that you can look into that will offer tips and selections.
