Dollhouse Miniature Swaps

Once I was certain the big box had everything in it that it could have, Mary came over and we started dividing and posting. At that point I realized we had eight people signed up and I had told everyone to make eight items, which meant that everyone would be getting one of their items back! Another thing to remember for the next time!

I asked everyone to post when they received their box but not to reveal what was inside just yet. The items we received for this swap were fantastic! Participants included CDHM Gallery members Lauretta Carroll, Alicia Hernandez, and Melissa Hart along with CDHM Forum members Mincka, Mary EJ, Charlotte, Carmen and two people from my miniature's club.

The guidelines were anything magic - from magician to fantasy. But everything had to be handmade with the materials cost not exceeding $5.00 USD per item, no printies or kits and everything 1/12 scale.

Mary EJ made a wonderful leather sorting hat, a la Harry Potter. You have to look closely, but
there is a face in the hat just like in the movie and with it two pennants: Gryffindor and Slytherin.
Mary EJ also made a second set: a glass Felix Felices potion bottle and a goblet with spilled
potion.
Charlotte made two spell books and a phenomenally printed deck of cards.
