CDHM the miniature way imag, found objects to make a lamp post for dollhouse miniatures

I remember the days of trick or treating in America when getting homemade goodies were the best: popcorn balls, fudge, caramel apples, rice krispie treats and cookies.

It is still fun to give them out to family and friends but for the trick-or-treating hordes coming to the door these days something a little less homemade is needed. What kind of treats do you like to give out? Do you stick with something edible or do you like to give out things like pencils and small trinket toys?

When my kids were at the trick or treating stage they got everything from the usual chocolate bar to a can of soda (which gets very heavy after a block or two for a little kid!).

What did you collect your treats in? I think the most popular container back then was the orange plastic jack-o-lantern. Newer options range from cutesy to scary buckets and bags.

One universal thing that hasn't changed over the years is the knowledge of which houses to stop at. If the porch light was on, they were giving out treats. And the dollhouse trick-or-treaters? Since my dollhouse doesn't have a porch light I created a lamp post from simple household items.
