"I used to have a Sylvanian family dollhouse when I was a child and I played with it night and day. The Sylvanians didn't live in it, but my troll dolls did!
"I discovered the miniature world around five years ago, about the time I first discovered the little Trollflings. I was trying to sculpt a cat. It ended up
looking like a cat/mouse creature, but with a long tail and its hair was sticking straight up just like a troll's! That is how the Trollflings first came about. I haven't put the polymer clay down since the first evening that I started working with it."
While she doesn't have a specific scale for her Trollflings, the largest one is only four inches.
"I like making trolls of any size, from three-fourths of an inch up to four inches high. If I make a troll any larger than that - unless it is a troll tree of course - I think somehow they lose their sweetness. With my Halloween plants and miniatures I prefer 1/12th dollhouse scale."
