CDHM The Miniature Way iMag Carving in Miniature for the dollhouse scale, 1/12 Today I'm going to be making a 1:12 scale walnut/maple chess board, perfect for Father's Day in the world of miniatures! CDHM The Miniature Way iMag Carving in Miniature for the dollhouse scale, 1/12

I've selected maple and a beautiful piece of walnut. They have already been planed to three-quarter-inch thick.

CDHM The Miniature Way iMag Carving in Miniature for the dollhouse scale, 1/12 The first step is to joint the edge of both pieces.

I am going to be making this entire piece on my little four-inch Dremel©     table saw and need to rip the jointed edges from the walnut and maple stock. I want these pieces to be one-eighth-inch thick.

The inset in the photo shows the edge ripped from my piece of maple. Notice I have made a zero
