I actually have my mother's set of "Good China" which could NEVER be used for everyday meals. Not ever! Today they sit in the same cupboard that they have sat in for decades where they are kept dusted, washed and loved. I have estimated that over the years they have been hand washed more than 120 times, but used only once! My mom taught me to crochet, sew and cook. From there I learned knitting, embroidery and cross-stitching. How many of us have picked up any type of needle art from our moms?
