Custom Dolls, Houses, and Miniatures aka CDHM, the website for all things miniature, is celebrating the 2011 Summer in grand style with a worldwide competition for Fairy Tales in Dollhouse Miniature Scale. We encourage all miniaturist to compete!
This competition will recognize areas of excellence in the theme of fairy tales. Entries will be judged based upon technique, craftsmanship, degree of difficulty, artistry, and overall presentation.
How To Enter
Email your entry to
no later than August 20, 2011. An acknowledgement email will be sent back to you.

Each entrant will receive a unique entry designation that will be associated with the presentation.
Names of artisans will not be disclosed until after the contest is completed.
■
When submitting your entry, each email should include your entry name, CDHM nickname (if applicable),
full name, mailing address, and email address.
■
Only jpgs, tiffs, or pngs will be accepted. Images should be high resolution, and in focus. Images
that are out of focus, have distorted backgrounds, too small in size or poor resolution will
not be accepted. A 24-hour resubmission will be accepted up until the deadline.
■
Photo, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the contest entrant.
By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted
photographs are original photos created solely by the entrant and that no other party has
any right, title, claim or interest in the photos.
■
Submission should include up to five (5) images but no less than three (3) images.
Recommended images as noted below:
► A full image of front of submission (required)
► A full image of back of submission (required)
► A close-up image of the front
► A close-up image of the left-side
► A close-up image of the right-side
► A close-up image of any special details
► A size verifiable image of the submission which includes a ruler showing
height and length (required)
Rules
■ Entry must be 1:12 scale or smaller.
■ Entry must be made by contestant for this contest.
■ Entries must be 3-dimensional.
■ Any medium can be used.
■ Owners name, nickname, trade name, watermarks, or logos cannot be visible on the entry or
images for this competition.
■ Only one entry can be submitted per contestant.
■ Contest is open to the public.
Exclusions and Disqualifications
■ Entries that have been shown to the public prior to or during the contest.
■ No graphic artistry or paintings allowed this contest.
■ Entry that was not created specifically for this contest.
■ Derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, offensive or hateful presentations.
■ Creation of a false identity for the purposes of submitting more than one entry.
■ CDHM reserves the right to exclude any entry that does not fit the rules and guidelines.
■ No multiple voting by entrant, including proxy votes.
■ Disclosing images of the entry to the internet or identifying the
entry number to others
Prize
■ One prize will be issued. A North Eastern 144 scale Gothic Mansion Kit.
Valued at $50.00 USD.
■ Contest results will be published August 27, 2011.
