Step 3
Roll the section into a ball.

If you see any fibre or dust in the clay, scrape it of with your nail. The clay often is like a magnet to those irritating small particles!

Step 4
Take your little ball and place it at your left index finger. Then use your thumbs and form the ball so it becomes flat underneath and round at the top, as in my pictures.

Step 5
If needed, you can use a flat clean surface to lay down the orange at and adjust its form.

Step 7
Use a single sided razor blade and make two parallel scores in the middle of the orange section. They should be about 1mm deep (1/32").

Step 8
Then remove the clay between the lines with your blade or a needle, be careful so you don´t cut yourself.
