CDHM Artisan Debbe Mize makes 1:12 scale picnic table with dollhouse miniature foods June and the heady scents of "summer on the way" are beginning to fill the senses. Flowers and animals break free from their winter hibernation while children everywhere excitedly await the end of school, ready to break free from the daily constraints of teachers, lessons and the school bell. Miniaturist all over the world are inspired to make many wonderful and varied "little creations"!

What could be better than planning a "foodtastic" picnic to pack in a hamper and enjoy, alfresco, on a lazy afternoon with friends, to take to a day at the races, to the beach or to that secret camp in the woods where you can be anything you want! No more school lunches, instead, there could be delicious homemade pies, exotic ice lollies, sandwiches of every variety in soft breads or crispy baguettes and of course sweets, sweets, sweets! CDHM and IGMA Fellow Orsolya Skuleti makes 1:12 scale foods for the dollhouse miniature kitchen

On these adventures in a make-believe world, deep in the secret woodland camp, if you look carefully enough, you might even be fortunate enough to discover a fairy picnic. Because, as we all know, fairies bring their own magical picnics to colourful fairy toadstool rings hidden deep in the dappled shade of the woods.
