Paulette Morrissey on making the cover of American Miniaturist in the July 2008 issue with her "Street Scenes" creations. Please check here for Magazine Availability. • Madavor Media acquires Doll Magazine from UK based Ashdown Corp. • Lavonne Heiselman from Chelsea Lane Miniatures of Palo, Iowa, had a wonderful brick & mortar store that was completely lost along with her homestead due to the massive floods. Lavonne is in her 70's and has advised that she will not be able to rebuild. • The miniature community lost too many well known artists during June 2008 -- Sara Shenefelt Greenfield, Barry Hipwell, Jane Markstrom, and Doreen Sinnett. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all the families. • Tasha Tudor, age 92, died in her Vermont home during June. Known for her captivating gardens, beautiful children's books, and her Bucilla stitching kits that portrayed scenes from her designs. Do you want to be published?
